Ohio’s Top Three Inns

Focusing on farm and local sourcing for our entire operation has added a very attractive element for our guests.”
 
Orchard House recognizes that today's traveler is looking for a distinct and curated experience, and something that is uniquely local. The Orchard House's location in rural Ohio encourages exploration and local interaction, again creating a unique experience for guests. Orchard House's design and eclectic decor and art create a one-off boutique atmosphere.

The term bed and breakfast deserves a bit of a rebrand, also. Today’s B&Bs are nothing like the ones you used to visit with parents, or grandparents, for that matter. These accommodations are luxurious, modern, and totally unique.



Orchard House’s main Italianate manor was built in the 1850’s on land whose settlement dates back to the Revolutionary War. But despite all of the property’s rich history, there’s a distinctly modern vibe here thanks to brightly colored accent walls, plush luxury bedding, original artwork, and a strong commitment to green eco-friendly practices - a style that Dean defines as “cosmopolitan country.” Recently added to the room options is a 16’ tent at the back of the farm which is outfitted with a queen size bed and down comforter, lights, oriental rug, and solar shower – a super popular glamping site.



It is not a single aspect that makes Orchard House deserving of this Unique Lodging award, but rather a larger understanding of what the modern traveler desires and expects.
